Meet our Operations Manager, Becky!

Becky Wright is from Tallahassee, FL and calls herself a “Tallahassee lassie.”  Becky and her siblings were raised by her mom single handed and that is who inspired her to be a woman in charge!  She had the opportunity to develop a strong work ethic at a young age by taking on her first job helping her brother-in-law’s small business at the age of fourteen.  Becky graduated from Leon High School in 2005 where she was an enthusiastic cheerleader in the fall and an aggressive soccer player in the spring.  “I have always loved being a part of competitive team sports; maybe I cheered so I could have better seats at the ball games!” 

After high school Becky attended Florida State University and received her BA in Psychology.  During college she worked for the State of Florida as a Data Entry specialist and realized that “a comfortable job and salary as well as being stuffed in a cubical was not the life for me.”  Becky’s hobbies have always been seeing live entertainment, so she started pursuing the music industry by working for a variety of music festivals.  In 2009 she moved to Atlanta, GA to intern with a promotional marketing company for music festivals, venues, and artists.  “The economy was not very kind to the industry as it is a luxury, and I saw that my hard work was not getting compensated.  It was time for an all-around career change.”   Becky then started an entry-level position at a sales and marketing firm in Atlanta.  “I had zero sales experience, but trusted my trainers and coaches to teach me sales.  I knew that with my strong work ethic I would achieve my goals and I was quickly promoted to account manager!”  Less than a year later, she had the opportunity to transfer and help her colleague Cj Suggs new office in the Kansas City, MO area.  Becky has worked for Livewire Concepts, Inc. since February, 2011, and was promoted to assistant manager in January, 2012.
